User Content Policy

General terms for images, text, files, feedback, and other content submitted to Splentify.

Last updated 2026-05-25

Content you submit

You are responsible for content you upload, submit, or otherwise provide to Splentify, including food photos, brand materials, product information, prompts, feedback, and supporting files.

You should only submit content that you own, control, or have permission to use.

Permission to process content

You give Splentify permission to host, copy, process, modify, and display submitted content as needed to provide the service, create outputs, improve quality, provide support, and maintain safety or security.

Unless separately agreed, this permission is limited to operating and improving Splentify and does not transfer ownership of your content to Splentify.

Examples and marketing use

We will not intentionally use private customer content in public marketing materials without appropriate permission, consent, or anonymisation.

If you provide testimonials, case studies, public feedback, or explicit permission to use examples, you confirm that you have the rights needed for that use.

Prohibited content

Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, abusive, hateful, explicit, unsafe, or that violates privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or contractual rights.

We may remove, reject, or restrict content where we reasonably believe it breaches this policy or creates legal, security, or reputational risk.

You should not submit confidential third-party material, customer personal data, private documents, payment information, or content that you are not authorised to process through Splentify.

Accuracy of food content

Food visuals should remain honest and suitable for their intended use. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing them on menus, delivery platforms, websites, campaigns, or other channels.

Splentify may help improve clarity, crop, lighting, presentation, and consistency, but the customer-facing result should still represent the real item, portion, ingredients, and offer.

If an output no longer matches the actual dish, packaging, serving style, ingredient list, or customer promise, you should not publish it without correction.

Retention and deletion

We may retain submitted content and related outputs for a reasonable period to provide the service, support customer requests, improve quality, maintain security, and comply with legal or operational requirements.

Where deletion controls or support processes are available, you may request deletion of eligible content by contacting splentify@splentify.co. Some records may need to be retained where required or permitted by law.
